As a former visual journalist and the co-owner of a graphic design firm, I can bring a lot of knowledge on various design mediums to the table. My expertise in data visualization and my 18 years of experience in graphic design have allowed me to have a diverse portfolio in static, web and motion content. I’ve taught two courses at the University of Miami’s School of Journalism and completed a teaching internship at the Savannah College of Art and Design’s Motion Design department. I am now a part-time lecturer at the University of North Carolina – Charlotte, where I teach undergraduate courses in graphic design at the Department of Art and Art History at UNCC’s College of Art + Architecture.
