02 Feb Digging up the archives: News page designs (2000-2003)
For today’s Throwback Thursday, I’m opening up my vault and sharing some very old newspaper clips from 2000-2003. These pages are cover fronts I designed for both the Baltimore Sun and the Arizona Republic back when I was just a wee lass learning the ins/outs of page design.
Looking back, I’m still proud of a few of them. Others, not so much. A lot of these have art from another artist, and I didn’t have many opportunities to create my own illustrations. But you work with what you got, and my job was to make the pages pop.
